		<description>I have included it in my resume so that a prospect employer knows upfront that I am &quot;active&quot; in social networking.  Of course, I only maintain a LinkedIn page and nothing else, but this could possibly annoy someone.  I&#039;ld rather be honest upfront.  At the same time, I believe this is a good way for a prospect employer to know who I know and even perhaps obtain references - anyhow some references already exist in my linkedin page for easy reference.</description>
