Whenever you are applying to a job or networking with one of your contacts, always use a personal email address that contains all (or most) of your full name. This will simplify the process for recruiters.
You also want to avoid using your school email address (as it may bias an employer) or any address with slang or joke names (which may turn off an employer). Minding these rules won’t win you the job, but they will make sure you won’t lose an opportunity.
