I love lists, especially if they are dripping with sarcasm. So when I came across this resume list on the Interview Edge, I know I had to show it off. It’s called 10 Things You Can Do to Make Sure Your Resume is a Bust.

Even though the whole list is pretty funny, I specifically liked…

10. Send it to Julia Johnson, the SVP of Business Development, when the hiring manager is actually Jim Hernandez, the SVP of Sales. Both Julia and Jim will be suitably unimpressed.

…but only because I have made this mistake before. Don’t follow in my footsteps!
