Welcome To Gradversity.com!

Welcome to Gradversity.com, a site dedicated to helping new graduates find rewarding careers. I launched this site because I know just how challenging it can be to find your first real job after you graduate. I’ve been there. It is never easy, especially considering the economic challenges our country faces.

That being said, perhaps it would be best to address a few main questions that you may have about the site:

Who runs Gradversity.com?

My name is Trevor Wilson and I have been gathering information about student recruiting for the past several years. I can offer meaningful insight into the recruiting process because I have been through exactly what you are going through right now. I hope to be able to offer tips, tricks, and advice that will help you find that rewarding career.

Why should I listen to you?

Because I have been there before. As I was approaching graduation, I decided to document my job search (as well as those of my friends and classmates) with the idea that this information could be passed along to future graduating classes. Hopefully you will find this site useful.

What sort of information can I find on this site?

I will be posting my views and ideas on every aspect of the job hunting process, from networking to resume building to interview skills. I also frequently link to some of the best job-search resources you can find online, from the biggest players to the smallest blogs.

Will you find a job for me?

No. But I will give you honest advice about what to expect and how to best position yourself to find a great job.

Will you review my resume and/or cover letter?

Maybe. If there is enough interest, and as time permits, I may publicly review the occasional resume or cover letter on this site.

Why are you doing this?

Because I know just how hard this process can be and I’m confident I can help improve your chances at landing the job you want.

Well that’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by and check back often for great job search resources.
