I love stories like this. I read a newspaper story (traditional media -- really!) back in the fall about using Twitter and other social media and forwarded it on to a friend, for her child. Now that child is graduating from college, sans job, though he's using social media, friends, family and just about everything else he can think of, including old-fashioned hard work. We'll see him over the weekend, with both a fun, "congratulations!" gift, and an extremely practical one, a great book (my standard gift this spring) on finding a new job, called "Job Coach for Young Professionals." It covers everything from A to Z -- the entire job search. And it's good for second and third jobs, too.
